This brief is an example of a design and styling that needed to reflect the brand identity, with characters and visual metaphors that were carefully designed to gently communicate the delicate subject matter and tone of the piece.

It was important that the communication did not pose either of the main characters as being at-fault in the breakdown of the relationship, in order to avoid alienating any of the client’s potential customers/users, so scenes and emotional responses were carefully crafted to give a sense of mutuality and achieve the required gravitas without too much heaviness.
